Gemballa Definition

Since 1981, the name GEMBALLA has stood, above all, for the high-end refinement Porsche vehicles. The company's beginnings go all the way back to 1979, when the car specialist operated under a different name, undertaking high-end refinement work on numerous other premium makes at the request of its customers. This period saw the achievement of visionary, innovative milestones in the luxury modifications segment. No other name is so strongly associated
Based on a Porsche Carrera GT, Gemballa produced the Mirage GT. Rumors suggested that when the car was produced it would have upwards of 800 horsepower (600 kW); however, the Mirage GT's only performance modification is an exhaust system which boosts power to 645 hp (481 kW). At that time, company owner Uwe Gemballa said that a twin-turbo version of the Porsche Supercar was in the works. Modified Luxury & Exotics magazine described the car as "one of the finest automobiles we've ever featured."[2]
Gemballa Avalanche GTR800 EVO-R is a car based on the 911 (997) GT2. Like the title suggests, it produces about 800 bhp (600 kW) thanks to two turbochargers and highly modified engine components. There are pictures and information released at www.gemballa.com, the Gemballa GmbH website.
Gemballa also has a modification based on the Porsche Cayenne Turbo. This produces around 750 brake horsepower. The modification is called GT 750 Aero 3. This modification is also available for the Cayenne's predecessor 955 model. The tune-up kit features exterior modification to enhance aerodynamic performance. Engine tuning is carried through revised turbochargers, coolers (oil and pressurized air IC) and a large collection of engine components including pistons and seals.
The Gemballa MIG-U1 is based on the Ferrari Enzo, for a limited numbers. It is a custom made car for Mustafa and Ilyas Galadari from Dubai: Their initials form the Name "MIG". [3]
The 2011 Gemballa Mistrale, based on the Porsche Panamera Turbo, has 721 hp. Only 30 will be built.[4]
In 2012, due to homologation rules, Gemballa built two versions of McLaren MP4-12C, including one road-going model and one GT3 race version (under Gemballa Racing division label) destined for FIA GT3 European Championship.

German tuning company Gemballa has announced a styling update to their GT Aero body package for the Porsche Cayenne 958. As an extension of the GT Aero 1 kit introduced at the beginning of 2012, the Aero 2 kit pursues a more elegant appearance. Thanks to its modular design, the Aero 2 kit adds new wheel arch extensions and side sills for an understated stance. All body components are made of carbon-fiber and designed to fit the original factory mounting points.

Press release:

The Next Stage of Evolution
GEMBALLA GT AERO 2 styling package for the Porsche Cayenne 958
Nature's way is to perfect its creations step-by-step. GEMBALLA has developed its GT AERO packages for the Porsche Cayenne 958 using a similar evolutionary process.
The GT AERO 2 package is an extension of the GT AERO 1 kit introduced at the beginning of 2012, and further increases the presence of this premier SUV, while taking its aerodynamics to the next level.
The second generation Porsche Cayenne is a more elegant design than its predecessor, and appears more compact despite its greater overall dimensions. GEMBALLA uses a modular system to enhance the Cayenne's individuality, while enabling owners to add to the entry-level GT AERO 1 package at any time.
The new GT AERO 2 kit includes all the components of its ‘little brother' to which are added wheel arch extensions and connecting side sills that emphasise the Cayenne's width, giving it an even more purposeful appearance.
As with other GEMBALLA styling conversions, all the GT AERO 2 components are made in Germany from the highest quality carbon-fibre. GEMBALLA aero components are designed to fit the original factory mounting points so no cutting or drilling is necessary.
GEMBALLA ensures the precision fit of all its components, with tolerances controlled by state-of-the-art digital measuring equipment. "Our design process ensures that the highest fitting accuracy is achieved. This also makes repairs, or removal for subsequent sale in the case of a leased vehicle, straightforward and cost effective," explained GEMBALLA CEO, Andreas Schwarz.
The modular system also allows various combinations and permutations by owners. For instance, someone who already has the GT AERO 1 Kit fitted, can install the GT AERO 2 wheel arches as the next step.
A distinctive set of alloy wheels always transforms a car, and GEMBALLA's 22-inch wheels make a huge difference to the look of any Cayenne. These immensely strong 22-inch forged wheels keep unsprung weight down to around the same level as the factory 20-inch wheels. For those on a tighter budget, a cast version of this wheel design is also available.
GEMBALLA builds cars that look sporty, and feel light and responsive to drive, This lean and mean philosophy is entirely in line with the principles of evolution.
