Carlsson CK63 RSR
Carlsson CK63 RS based on Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG

At the Frankfurt motor show, German tuner Carlsson premiered the Carlsson CK63 RS - based on the Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG with Performance Package.
To knock the 0 to 100 km/h sprint time of Performance Package CLS 63 AMG from 4.3 seconds down to 4.1 seconds, Carlsson adds some output to the series 557 PS (410 kW / 550 bhp) to take maximum horsepower and torque up to 649 PS (477 kW / 642 bhp) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft).
Carlsson fits a carbon fiber aerodynamic kit too, which includes a new front spoiler and RS front spoiler lip, black-colored stainless steel grille inserts, rear boot-lid spoiler, rear skirt insert and RS rear diffuser.
A stainless-steel sport exhaust system with four oval pipes is also added, along with rim offerings up to 20-inch in size and an adjustable suspension kit which can lower the ride-height up to 30 mm for the CLS models equipped with the Airmatic suspension.
For the interior, Carlsson adopts Nappa leather in Mokka brown color along with carbon inlays in dark brown/matte. Other features include the illuminated door sill panels, soft velour floor mats with the Carlsson logo and door pins of brushed aluminium.

On the design front, the car is outfitted with a new front bumper, aerodynamic side skirts, a revised rear apron and a trunk-mounted spoiler. There's also a suspension lowering module (which reduces the ride height by up 30mm) and 20-inch alloy wheels with high-performance Dunlop tires.
Under the hood, the twin-turbo 5.5-liter V12 is equipped with a revised ECU, a high-flow air filter and a stainless steel sport exhaust system. Thanks to these tweaks, the engine produces 600 PS (441 kW / 591 hp) and an electronically-limited 1024 Nm (755 lb-ft) of torque. This enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and hit a top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph).
2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK by Carlsson

Starting things off under the hood of this iconic cabrio, Carlsson has developed a new C-Tronic kit, with different stages of output boosts, for the new range of CGI engines that go into the SLK.
For the SLK 200 CGI with a standard output of 184 PS (135 kW / 181 PS) - the C-Tronic tuning can dial that up to a maximum of 224 PS (165 kW / 221 bhp). There's also a less powerful boost up to 211 PS (155 kW / 208 bhp).
For the SLK 250 CGI - power gets bumped up to a maximum of 239 PS (176 kW / 236 bhp) from the series' 204 PS (150 kW / 201 bhp).
For aerodynamics/styling Carlsson has a new front lip spoiler and grille inserts made from electropolished stainless steel. At the rear there's the diffuser insert and rear spoiler which increase contact pressure at the rear axle.
Carlsson also lowers the suspension on the SLK by up to 30 mm and adds new wheels with rims offered between 18- to 20-inches in size.
On the inside, Carlsson provides personalized matching beading and stitching with a choice of leathers that include Carlsson Nappa, Carlsson Nappa Exclusive and Carlsson Nappa Exclusive Heavy Weight. The basic upholstering package does the seats, headrests and inside door panels. Carlsson also adds brushed-aluminum pedal pads with its own logos, as well as its own gear shifter. Accent trims come in "Alcantara appliques", carbon or fine wood inserts.
Mercedes-Benz CLS by Carlsson

German tuner Carlsson has introduced its own edition of the Mercedes-Benz CLS ahead of its Geneva debut tomorrow.
Carlsson's chief designer Rolf Schlepp has created a new aerodynamic kit that accentuates the CLS's coupe styling. That includes a front spoiler, an RS front spoiler lip (also available in carbon), stainless-steel grille inserts, rear spoiler and a rear apron with integrated diffuser.
For the performance tuning, Carlsson offers power boosting kits for several CLS engine variants, including a boost on the twin-turbo V8 of the CLS 63 AMG that dials output from the series' 557 PS ( 410 kW / 550 bhp) up to 600 PS (441 kW / 592 bhp).
On the diesel-powered CLS 350 CDI, the Carlsson C-Tronic control unit boosts the power rating by 20 percent to a total of 320 PS (235 kW / 316 bhp) and 780 Nm of torque (575 lb-ft) from the series' 265 PS (195 kW / 261 bhp) 650 Nm (479 lb-ft). The 0 to 100 km/h sprint time is improved by 0.3 seconds over the standard 350 CDI to 5.9 seconds.
For the exhaust, there's a stainless steel rear silencer and double-oval tailpipes, with Carlsson offering stainless-steel tailpipes as an extra option.
Alloy wheels in 1/10 design (five simple and five double spokes) can be had in sizes up to 20 inches.
The C-Tronic SUSPENSION kit is adaptable to the AIRMATIC suspension from Mercedes and can lower the car 30 mm.
Things remain as elaborate, and then some, on the inside. Carlsson uses top-notch materials for the cabin finish in leather and Alcantara with carbon and wood trims (wood inlays with a piano black varnish). The seats and door panels are upholstered in Carlsson Nappa leather with contrasting stitching. There's also an Alcantara sports steering wheel, brushed aluminum pedals and foot rests, and floor and boot mats with the Carlsson logo. Carlsson even informs us that drinking-quality water is used in the tanning of the leather. That's how refined this tuning package is.
