2013 Mercedes SL-Class by MEC Design

MEC Design has introduced a new styling program for the 2013 Mercedes SL550 (R231). Looking tastefully restrained, the model has been equipped with AMG-inspired bumpers and a four-tailpipe exhaust system that is available in two different sound types: "Daytona" and "Earthquake." There's also an electric lowering module (which reduces the ride height by up to 55mm) and 20-inch "MecxtremeI" wheels with a satin finish. There's no word on pricing or availability, but the accessories will likely be offered in the near future.

Mercedes-Benz S550 by MEC Design

The tuners from MEC Design have created an upgrade program for the U.S.-only Mercedes-Benz S550. The vehicle rides on a new set of three-piece alloys with the wheel center in a black silk finish and the outer lip in a black gloss finish. The front wheels measure 10 x 21 inches while the rear are 11 x 21 inches. The front axle rolls on 255/30ZR21 tires while the rear wheels are covered by 295/30ZR21 rubbers. Other changes to this S550 include the addition of the Electronic Lowering System which is capable of bringing the car down by up to 60mm, along with a new four-pipe stainless steel exhaust system. The cabin gets a new sports steering wheel and a piano black finish for the center console and the dashboard inlays. The floor mats now come with special edging, while the grill covering has the same color as the body.
