Senner Tuning Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster

Senner Tuning has unveiled a new performance package for the Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster. Looking tastefully restrained, the model features a KW coilover suspension and 20-inch Schmidt Revolution wheels with Hankook S1 Evo tires.
For added performance, the 6.3-liter V8 engine has been equipped with high-flow air filters and a sports exhaust system. This enables the engine to develop 606 HP (446 kW) and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque which is an increase of 35 HP (26 kW) and 40 Nm (29 lb-ft). Detailed performance specifications were not released but the modifications should enable the Roadster to accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than 3.7 seconds.

Mercedes SLS AMG MC700 by McChip

German tuner McChip has revised its tuning program for the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. In its standard configuration, the V8 6.2-liter naturally-aspirated engine produces 571 HP (420 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque, but the tuner can increase its output to 706 HP (519 kW) and 793 Nm (585 lb-ft). They do this by installing a custom exhaust system, sports catalytic converters and performing engine software tweaks. The entire power upgrade package will set you back 78,999 EUR.
Aside from the power boost, a hydraulically-controlled DDC or HLS 4-sports chassis made by KW is available for 12,999 EUR. CoverEFX is selling this complete matte grey/red foliation for an extra 5,999 EUR.
Lesser upgrades are also available, while the most powerful version is for export only. McChip says the modifications are made in 5 to 7 working days.

Mercedes SLS AMG by Vilner

The Mercedes SLS AMG has always been one of the more luxurious supercars, but that hasn't stopped Vilner from trying to spruce up the model's interior. Apparently built for a customer named Sergey Kries, the SLS has been outfitted with a leather and Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel as well as a leather-covered storage pocket between the seats.
While the styling changes are minor, the car has also been equipped with a bespoke trunk that features two-tone Alcantara upholstery and an embroidered AMG badge.

Kicherer Supersport GT

Kicherer has unveiled their new Supercharged GT. Based on the Mercedes SLS AMG, the model has a supercharged 6.3-liter V8 engine that develops approximately 700 bhp (522 kW) and 840 Nm (619 lb-ft) of torque. This enables the coupe to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, before hitting a top speed in excess of 300 km/h (186 mph). The car's styling mimics the Supersport GT and includes a carbon fiber front lip spoiler, a rear diffuser and a grille inspired by 1952 300 SL Carrera Panamericana. The model also has an adjustable coilover suspension, a stainless steel sports exhaust system and 20- / 21-inch alloy wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.

Mercedes SLS Roadster with 702PS by VÄTH

Bavarian based tuning house VÄTH Automobiltechnik has presented their package for the new Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster. It centers around an impressive engine upgrade that sees total output increase from the factory 563 hp (420 kW / 571 PS) up to 702 PS (515kW/691hp) while torque has improved from 479 lb-ft (650 Nm) up to 627 lb-ft (850Nm). The figures have been obtained from the 6.3-liter (6,208cc) V8 engine by improving the air flow system as well as modifications to the unit's electronics. The changes see the 0-100kph (0-62mph) time improve slightly to 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 330kph (205mph) is also achievable on the right tires. Additional upgrades include a front spoiler, boot spoiler with spoiler limp and side skirts made from lightweight carbon and is complimented with a set of 20-inch Väth wheels. Inside the cabin, drivers are treated to leather upholstery, a sporty steering wheel and a speedometer that reaches 400kph (even if the car cannot go that fast).

Hamann Hawk Roadster based on Mercedes SLS AMG

Back in 2011 at the Geneva Motor Show German tuner Hamann revealed their HAWK GT Coupe program based on the Mercedes SLS AMG. One year later and Hamann has dressed the Roadster version exactly the same for the Swiss show once again.
Despite losing its wing doors from the coupe, the vehicle keeps its bird of prey name. The Roadster features a wind tunnel tested body kit consisting of a new front bumper fascia with LED lights and enlarged air inlets, carbon fiber hood with air vents, side skirts, fender flairs and quarter panels that are 60mm and 70mm wider on each side, respectively, and a rear bumper fascia with diffuser and carbon fiber wing.
Performance of the 6.3-liter V8 engine receives a high-performance stainless steel exhaust system while a sports air filter is used on the intake side. Combined with a remapped engine control unit, power output is raised to 636 PS (628 bhp / 468 kW) from the standard 571 PS (420 kW / 563 hp) for a 0 to 100 km/h sprint in 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph).
The coilover kit with four height-adjustable dampers and four progressively wound springs lower the center of gravity by up to 30mm. Wheels are Hamann's own lightweight forged wheels in 9Jx21 with tires measuring 245/30 ZR 21 at the front and 12.5Jx21 with tires measuring 345/25 ZR 21 at the rear.

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG by Senner Tuning

The designers and technicians at tuning firm Senner Tuning have finally gotten their hands on a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and it wasn't before long that the lightweight super sport was improved. Starting with essentials such as a remapped ECU, high performance air filter kit and stainless steel exhaust system, additional power output of 35 PS (35 bhp / 26 kW) and 40 Nm (30 lb-ft) was coaxed from the 6.2-liter V8 which normally produces 571 PS (563 bhp / 420 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. Custom made Corniche Vegas wheels with a stainless steel outer rim are from Aerotechnik in 9x20 inch rims with 255/30R20 tires at the front and 11x20 inch rims and 285/30R20 tires at the rear. Just beyond the wheels are KW adjustable coilovers in each of the four corners. Owner Benno Senner admits that greater extremes can be taken with the SLS just like with any vehicle, but insists the SLS in its basic form is quite well balanced and any further tuning would probably do more harm than good. But if you want more, Senner can always put together an individual package as per the customers requests.

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster by Brabus

Mercedes tuner Brabus has unveiled its package for the SLS AMG Roadster which it will premiere at the Essen Motor Show this weekend. The German tuner starts things off with a complete carbon fiber aerodynamic kit which it offers either in a high-gloss or matte finish. The body kit includes a front spoiler, newly designed air vents for the front fenders, side skirts, rear spoiler, side air vents for the rear fascia and a diffuser with integrated quad-exhaust. Brabus then fits its own Monoblock F "Platinum Edition" forged wheels, offered in several finishes, with 20-inch rims for the front and 21-inch rims at the rear axle. The Brabus Ride Control suspension system lowers the car by up to 40 mm at the touch of a button where the driver also gets to choose between different damper settings. The tuner also offers a Front Lift System which can raise the front axle of the car by 50 mm to navigate speed bumps or other obstacles. For a power upgrade Brabus adds a titanium sport exhaust system with quad pipes measuring 84 mm in diameter and an engine tuning that raises output on the 6.3 liter V8 from the series 571 PS (420 kW / 563 hp) to 611 PS (448 kW / 600 hp). For the interior, Brabus offers fully individualized finishes using the finest leather and Alcantara materials with carbon-fiber or exotic-wood trims.
